International EduCenter is searching for 4 young individuals eager to take part in a new GREEN adventure!

Project objectives

Youth Workers Going Green aims to realize a TC that bring 8 different country representatives together to discuss/share experiences, practices about local and global challenges of developing sustainable youth projects, training youth workers to be more environmentally conscious and responsible — creating a greener vision during the planning and implement various project and the organisations to discovering possibilities, taking action and contributing to greener and sustainable youth work.
TC objectives are:
-To explore different youth work and policy approaches, tools and mechanism for developing sustainable and greener projects/activities at national and international level;
-To familiarize with and better understand environmental sustainability in youth work and to be prepared to introduce greener approaches to their youth work practice;
-Up-skilling youth workers’ to be more environmentally conscious and responsible, exchange good examples of how sustainability approaches, tools are used efficiently in youth work in Europe;
-To inspire participants as a youth workers and their organisations to organise Erasmus+ European Solidarity Corps and other local/national projects in a more environmentally conscious way;
-To build your capacities as a youth workers on how to develop and organise green projects and to empower you to make your organisations greener;
-To enhance your knowledge on how to tackle challenges during the process of making youth projects greener;
-To empower youth workers to share knowledge on how to introduce eco-practices in youth projects and youth organisations;
-To stimulate the creation/continuation of a network of green youth workers and eco youth work practices after the end of the activity;
-To explore and integrate digital tools and competences of youth workers to strive for green innovation .

Selection criteria:

  • 4 young people aged 18-30 y.o;
  • English competences;
  • Experience as youth workers;
  • Motivation to take part in the project and in the next activities.
