DIS-ACT took place between 01.10.2019 – 30.05.2022 and its main objective was to increase the inclusive potential of theater as a tool for opening up opportunities and eliminating prejudices towards people with disabilities, by creating educational offers for operators, but also for adults with disabilities themselves in the field of divised theatre.

The main activities of the project:

  • Research and mapping of best practices;

  • Creation of the Training Curriculum and the Implementation Manual;

  • Creation of the Web platform;

  • Training course in Sofia, Bulgaria;

  • Local dissemination events.

During the implementation of the project, the partners worked together to create a curriculum based on non-formal learning methods, addressing existing operators in the field of theater and having as its main topic the implementation of divided theater with disabled people.

At the same time, the web platform of the project was created (https://dis-act.eu/), where you can find the best practices guide, but also other materials such as team-building games, energizers, divided theater methods etc.

The training course in Sofia, Bulgaria took place between 27.08-02.09.2021 and covered the following topics: divided theatre, educational resources and tools, special education and non-formal education.
